Frequently asked questions
Do hyaluronic acid fillers hurt?
A topical anesthetic is applied and many gels contain lidocaine, so most people feel pressure and brief pinpricks rather than pain. Areas such as the lips or folds are more sensitive than the cheekbone. The discomfort ends with the session, which takes 30 to 60 minutes depending on the area.
What exactly is facial harmonization?
It’s a plan that combines several minimally invasive treatments to balance the proportions of the face: botulinum toxin, hyaluronic acid, MINT threads or non-surgical nose reshaping, depending on what each face needs. It isn’t a single procedure or a fixed package. It’s a diagnosis of the whole face translated into phases.
What is a collagen biostimulator?
It’s an injectable that prompts the skin to produce its own collagen. The most widely used are calcium hydroxylapatite, found in Radiesse and HArmonyCa, and poly-L-lactic acid, found in Sculptra. They improve firmness and density progressively, and the product is reabsorbed over time.
What exactly does the Collagen Boost include?
It’s a protocol that can combine ResurFX on the Stellar M22, Zaffiro by Neauvia, EndyMed gold microneedles, botulinum toxin, hyaluronic acid and HArmonyCa. Not every piece goes into every plan. The physician defines the combination at the consultation, based on what your skin needs.
