Planning treatment in Bogotá · from abroad

Many of our patients live outside Colombia: IKI Skincare customers who want to meet Dr. Urbani, people who combine a trip with treatment, and Colombians who come home to visit. This page explains how to plan it calmly.

Step by step

From your first message · to your treatment in Bogotá

  1. 1

Talk to us before you travel

Write to us on WhatsApp in English or book a virtual consultation. Tell us what you would like to improve, any treatments you have had before and the dates you plan to be in Bogotá. Valentina, our AI assistant, answers at any hour; the reception team replies during business hours.

  2. 2

    Get a realistic plan

We tell you which treatments can be done in a single visit and which need a series of sessions weeks apart, so you can decide what fits your trip. The exact plan and prices are confirmed in writing at your in-person consultation.

  3. 3

    Your consultation in Usaquén

45 minutes with a physician, free of charge: medical history, skin analysis, diagnosis and a written plan with prices. If the diagnosis allows it and a room is available, treatment can often start the same day.

  4. 4

    Aftercare and follow-up

You receive written aftercare instructions. Follow-up can continue on WhatsApp once you are home, and some check-ups can be scheduled for your next visit.

Planning your days

Single-visit treatments and series treatments

This is general guidance. Your physician confirms the plan for your case.

Usually one session

  • Botulinum toxin · with a check-up around 2 weeks later when indicated
  • HIFU (Liftera) · one session per area, with a gradual result over the following months
  • Hyaluronic acid fillers and lip fillers
  • Hydrafacial and the Star Facial
  • Minor skin surgery, with pathology results sent afterwards

Usually a series of sessions

  • Laser hair removal · usually packages of 6 sessions, weeks apart
  • IPL, ResurFX and laser · usually series of 3
  • RF microneedling · packages of 4 to 8 sessions
  • Chemical peels and depigmenting protocols
  • NuEra Tight radiofrequency · packages of 8 sessions

The physician confirms the plan, the number of sessions and the time between them for your case. Results vary from patient to patient.

Your trip

Practical notes for your trip

Where we are

Calle 120A #7-36, Office 803, in Usaquén, in the north of Bogotá. Bogotá’s El Dorado International Airport (BOG) has direct flights from several US cities.

Altitude and sun

Bogotá sits at about 2,600 m (8,500 ft). The air is dry and UV radiation is high all year, so daily sunscreen is part of every plan, especially after laser, peels or IPL.

Language

Our team sees English-speaking patients at the clinic and on WhatsApp. Valentina, our AI assistant, also answers in English.

Prices and payment

Prices are in Colombian pesos (COP). On our prices page we show an approximate US dollar reference; the amount charged depends on your bank’s exchange rate. Payment options are explained at the consultation.

Hours

Monday to Friday 9:00–18:00 and Saturday 9:00–20:00, Bogotá time (GMT−5). Closed on Sundays.

Questions from international patients

Can I do the consultation online?

Yes, you can start with a virtual consultation to talk about your goals and plan your trip. Some decisions, such as doses, areas and technologies, are confirmed in person, because they depend on examining the skin.

How many days should I plan to stay?

It depends on the treatments. For single-session treatments a few days is often enough, including the consultation and a margin for aftercare. Treatments that need a series of sessions are usually planned across several trips. We suggest a plan before you book flights.

Can I have a treatment the same day as the consultation?

In many cases, yes, if the diagnosis allows it and a room is available. Some procedures need preparation, such as pausing certain products or avoiding sun, and are scheduled for another day.

What if I live with rosacea or sensitive skin?

It is our specialty. Dr. Urbani lives with rosacea and iki’s approach is built around reactive skin: technologies that respect the barrier, gentle protocols and honesty about what can be controlled.

Do you speak English?

Yes. The team sees English-speaking patients at the clinic and on WhatsApp, and Valentina, our AI assistant, answers in English at any hour.
