Mesotherapy for deep hydration

Hydrate from the dermis · not just the surface

Mesotherapy for deep hydration uses micro-injections to place a complex of hyaluronic acid and nutrients directly in the dermis. It gradually improves skin hydration, elasticity and radiance. It does not fill or lift · its territory is skin quality.

In short

Mesotherapy for deep hydration is a medical procedure that places micro-injections of NCTF, a complex of free hyaluronic acid with vitamins, amino acids and minerals, in the dermis of the face. It gradually improves hydration, elasticity and radiance. At iki we recommend a minimum of 4 to 6 sessions of 30 to 45 minutes. Results vary from patient to patient.

Who it’s for · and who it isn’t

Indicated when

  • Dehydrated, dull or rough-textured skin
  • Fine lines from dehydration, not deep wrinkles
  • Skin that does not improve with creams and a routine alone
  • Preparation or maintenance alongside other skin-quality treatments

Not the right time if

  • Pregnancy or breastfeeding
  • Allergy to any component of NCTF
  • Deep wrinkles, skin laxity or volume loss · these call for a different treatment
  • Infection, active cold sores or lesions in the area

The physician makes the final indication at the consultation. Results vary from patient to patient.

What a mesotherapy session for deep hydration looks like at iki

Mesotherapy hydrates from within, but it does not replace the basics: gentle cleansing, moisturizer and sunscreen remain part of the plan.

  1. Medical consultation

We distinguish dry skin from dehydrated skin, review your history, allergies and medications, and confirm that mesotherapy is the right treatment.

  2. Preparation

Cleansing and antiseptic prep of the area. If your skin is very sensitive, topical anesthetic can be applied before starting.

  3. Micro-injections

The physician places small amounts of NCTF in the superficial dermis, evenly distributed across each area. You feel mild discomfort.

  4. Finish

The area is cleaned and you receive written aftercare instructions. The small bumps left by the injections usually resolve within hours.

What it offers

Hydration from the dermis

Free hyaluronic acid helps the skin hold water from within, where creams don’t reach.

Better elasticity and texture

Over the sessions, skin usually feels more supple and smoother to the touch.

Gradual radiance

Hydrated skin reflects light better. The change builds session by session.

A foundation for other treatments

Well-hydrated skin tolerates and responds better to lasers, peels and collagen biostimulators.

Technology with an indication

✦

NCTF

NCTF is a complex of non-cross-linked hyaluronic acid with vitamins, amino acids, minerals and antioxidants. Unlike a filler, it does not add volume: it spreads through the dermis to improve hydration and the environment in which skin cells work. The physician applies it in micro-doses, with controlled technique and depth.

Results and aftercare

Skin usually feels more hydrated and elastic after the first sessions, and the improvement consolidates once the protocol is complete. It is a skin-quality effect that holds with maintenance sessions and good habits. It does not fill deep wrinkles or correct skin laxity: other treatments exist for that.

Aftercare after the session

  • No makeup and no touching the area for the rest of the day
  • Avoid direct sun, sauna and intense exercise that day
  • Daily sunscreen
  • Apply cold locally if mild swelling appears
  • Contact us if pain, warmth or redness increases over the following days

Results vary from patient to patient.

Frequently asked questions

Does hydrating mesotherapy hurt?

It can cause mild discomfort during the micro-injections, but it is generally well tolerated. The needles are very fine and the amount of product at each point is small. For sensitive skin, topical anesthetic can be applied before starting to make the session more comfortable.

How many mesotherapy sessions do I need?

A minimum of 4 to 6 sessions is recommended for consistent results. Some people notice more hydrated skin after the first one, but the effect builds over the full protocol. Afterward, the physician decides whether maintenance sessions make sense and how often.

How long does each session take?

Each NCTF mesotherapy session takes about 30 to 45 minutes, including skin preparation. If topical anesthetic is applied, add the time it needs to work. You can return to your activities afterward, avoiding makeup and direct sun that day.

What side effects does it have?

Side effects are usually mild and temporary: redness, swelling or small bumps at the injection points, which resolve within hours. A small bruise may appear, especially if you take anticoagulants or supplements that affect clotting. Tell us everything you take during your consultation.

Who should not have NCTF mesotherapy?

It is not recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding, or for people allergic to any component of NCTF. It is also not applied if there is infection, active cold sores or lesions in the area. During the consultation we review your history and medications to confirm it is safe in your case.

Is it the same as a hyaluronic acid filler?

No. A filler uses cross-linked hyaluronic acid to add volume or correct folds in a specific spot. Mesotherapy uses free hyaluronic acid, in micro-doses spread through the dermis, to improve hydration and skin quality without changing volume. They have different indications and are sometimes combined.

When will I see results?

Skin usually feels more hydrated in the days after the first sessions, but the change in elasticity, texture and radiance consolidates once the protocol is complete. It is not an overnight change: it is a gradual improvement in skin quality that holds with good habits.

What is the difference between dry skin and dehydrated skin?

Dry skin produces little oil and is usually that way by nature. Dehydrated skin lacks water and can happen in any skin type, even oily skin. Mesotherapy works on hydration, so the diagnosis matters: dry skin also needs its barrier reinforced with your home routine.
