What is the Star Facial?
It is a deep cleansing facial that combines Hydrafacial Elite technology with the products and masks of the Casmara rituals. It has 12 steps, moving from cleansing and extraction to hydration, actives and protection. It is personalized to the skin type the physician identifies that day.
What does a Hydrafacial do for the skin?
It cleanses, exfoliates, extracts pore contents with suction and hydrates with hyaluronic acid and antioxidant serums. The effect is cleaner, softer, brighter skin. It works on the surface and in the pore. It does not meaningfully stimulate collagen or correct skin laxity or deep wrinkles.
What does a deep facial cleansing at iki include?
A medical skin review, cleansing, exfoliation, careful extraction, a gentle peel if your skin tolerates it, hydration and sunscreen. Extraction can be done with Hydrafacial Elite suction, manually or both. The exact format is decided by your skin type and what we see that day.
Does hydrating mesotherapy hurt?
It can cause mild discomfort during the micro-injections, but it is generally well tolerated. The needles are very fine and the amount of product at each point is small. For sensitive skin, topical anesthetic can be applied before starting to make the session more comfortable.
