Body contouring

Redefine the contour · without promising sizes

Body contouring at iki addresses mild localized fat and skin firmness in specific areas, with NuEra Tight radiofrequency as the base. It is not a weight-loss treatment · it is for redefining what diet and exercise don’t quite shift.

In short

Body contouring is a non-invasive treatment to redefine areas with mild localized fat and improve skin firmness on the abdomen, flanks, arms, legs or buttocks. At iki it is done with NuEra Tight radiofrequency, in 40 to 70 minute sessions within a plan set during your consultation. Changes are gradual, it does not replace weight loss, and results vary from patient to patient.

Who it’s for · and who it isn’t

Indicated when

  • Mild to moderate localized fat on the abdomen, flanks, arms or legs
  • A stable weight, with healthy eating and exercise already in place
  • Mild skin laxity or the look of cellulite in the same area
  • Anyone who prefers gradual change without surgery or time off

Not the right time if

  • Overall excess weight · a weight-loss plan comes first
  • Large volumes of fat or excess skin · the indication is usually surgical
  • Pregnancy, breastfeeding, pacemakers or metal implants in the area

The physician makes the final indication at the consultation. Results vary from patient to patient.

How body contouring works at iki

The plan starts from looking at your whole case, not from a package. Before starting, we define the areas, number of sessions and what you can expect.

  1. Medical consultation

The physician reviews your medical history, fat distribution, skin quality and elasticity, habits and goals. If your case is not one for contouring, we tell you at that moment.

  2. Plan by area

One or two areas are prioritized and the number of sessions is set. Depending on the case, the plan may add body mesotherapy with enzymes or manual lymphatic drainage.

  3. Radiofrequency session

With conductive gel, the NuEra Tight handpiece moves across the area and raises its temperature in a controlled way. It feels like intense but tolerable warmth. It takes about 40 minutes on the abdomen or arms and up to 70 for a full leg.

  4. Follow-up

At each appointment we review your progress and adjust the energy or areas. When the protocol ends, the physician decides whether maintenance makes sense.

What it offers

Body contouring without surgery

No incisions, anesthesia or time off. You finish the session and get on with your day.

Works on fat and skin at once

Controlled heat supports the gradual reduction of superficial localized fat and stimulates collagen, so the skin keeps pace with the change in contour.

Improves the look of cellulite

Skin texture looks more even as the protocol progresses, especially on the thighs and buttocks.

An honest plan

We tell you which areas respond and which don’t, and how many sessions make sense.

Technology with an indication

Lumenis NuEra Tight radiofrequency device used for body contouring

NuEra Tight (Lumenis)

The base of body contouring at iki is NuEra Tight radiofrequency. The device heats the skin and superficial fat evenly, which stimulates collagen and supports the gradual reduction of localized fat. It lets us adjust the energy to each area and treat large areas in a single session.

Results and aftercare

Changes in contour and firmness are gradual. Some patients notice them after the first sessions, and the result usually consolidates in the weeks after the protocol. It is not measured in pounds · it is measured in contour and skin quality. It holds better with a stable weight, good habits and the maintenance your physician recommends.

Aftercare after the session

  • Drink water and keep the skin in the area moisturized
  • Keep up physical activity and balanced eating during the protocol
  • Avoid sauna and intense heat on the area the same day
  • Stick to your session dates · consistency weighs on the result
  • Contact us if redness or sensitivity does not subside within 24 hours

Results vary from patient to patient.

Frequently asked questions

Does body contouring help you lose weight?

No. Body contouring redefines specific areas with mild localized fat and improves skin firmness, but the scale barely changes. It works best for people with a stable weight. If your main goal is to lose weight, during the consultation we first propose a different plan and then, if it makes sense, contouring.

Does radiofrequency contouring hurt?

It usually does not hurt. Radiofrequency feels like intense, gradually building warmth, similar to a hot massage. No anesthesia is used and the energy is adjusted to your sensation. Afterward there may be mild redness in the area, which usually disappears within a few hours.

How many sessions do I need?

It depends on the area and the goal. Protocols usually range from 4 to 8 sessions, and the physician sets the exact number during your consultation, after reviewing your skin and fat distribution. We don’t propose more sessions than your case justifies.

Which areas can be contoured?

The abdomen, flanks, back, arms, legs, buttocks and combinations of these. On the face, the same technology treats the double chin and jawline. We recommend starting with one or two priority areas so the change is noticeable, instead of spreading the protocol across the whole body.

Is it an alternative to liposuction?

Not in every case. Radiofrequency is for mild to moderate localized fat and mild skin laxity. With large volumes of fat or excess skin, the indication is usually surgical, and we tell you so clearly. For those who have already had surgery, post-operative lymphatic drainage is a separate service.

Who cannot have radiofrequency contouring?

It is not recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding, or for people with pacemakers, metal implants or electronic devices in the area, active cancer, or skin with wounds or infection. Some medical conditions require prior review. During the consultation we review your full medical history before proposing a session.

How long do the results last?

There is no guaranteed duration. The result usually holds better when your weight stays stable and you stay active, and the physician may suggest maintenance sessions based on your progress. Age, hormones and habits all play a role. Results vary from patient to patient.

How do I start body contouring?

With a medical consultation where we review the area, your skin quality and your expectations, and give you a written plan with realistic sessions and timelines. If contouring is not the right option, we tell you that too. Your consultation at iki is free · 45 minutes.
