Leg laser hair removal
Less razor, less wax · a plan you can see at every session
At iki, leg laser hair removal is done with Splendor X, which covers large areas quickly and adapts to fair and darker skin. You can treat the lower legs or the full legs, alone or together with bikini and underarms. The reduction is progressive, session by session, and sun is the factor that needs the most care.

Leg laser hair removal reduces hair with light absorbed by the pigment in the follicle, so less hair grows back and it grows back finer. At iki it is done with Splendor X, which combines Alexandrite and Nd:YAG according to your skin type. You can treat lower or full legs, alone or with bikini and underarms. The plan usually starts at 6 sessions, and results vary from patient to patient.

What leg laser hair removal at iki looks like
The consultation sets the coverage, settings and calendar. For legs, the calendar is also planned around trips and sunny vacations.
Consultation
We review your skin type, the color and thickness of your hair, medications, recent sun and hormonal history. We decide whether lower legs or full legs make more sense, and whether adding bikini or underarms is worthwhile.
Preparation
You shave your legs the day before and arrive without creams, oils or self-tanner. If you’re coming back from a sunny trip, let us know before your appointment.
Session with Splendor X
Splendor X’s square handpiece covers large areas in fewer passes, with settings adjusted to your skin. Z-Cryo cooling protects the surface and makes the session more tolerable.
Between sessions
The treated hair sheds on its own over the following days. Between appointments, shaving only. The next session is usually 45 to 60 days later, and progress is reviewed at every visit.
What it offers
Leg laser hair removal in less time
The Splendor X handpiece is designed for large areas: fewer passes and shorter sessions.
Plans by area
Besides lower legs and full legs, there are plans that combine legs with bikini, underarms or other areas, called Trilogy and Full Body plans.
Fewer dark dots and ingrown hairs
Once you leave the razor and wax behind, irritation and the dark dots from hair growing under the skin usually decrease.
Careful with darker skin
The Nd:YAG lets us treat higher skin types with a wider safety margin by adjusting the energy.
Technology with an indication

Splendor X (Lumenis)
Splendor X emits two lasers simultaneously: Alexandrite (755 nm), highly effective on dark hair over fair skin, and Nd:YAG (1064 nm), which penetrates deeper and is gentler on darker skin. Its square handpiece distributes energy evenly, which helps cover the legs without leaving untreated patches. Z-Cryo cooling protects the skin with every pulse.
Results and aftercare
After each session, less hair grows back, and it grows back finer. By the end of the initial plan, the usual outcome is a significant reduction, not the complete absence of hair, and some people need touch-ups over time. Light or very fine leg hair responds less than dark, coarse hair. Polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), other hormonal changes and some medications can change the result.
Aftercare after the session
- Avoid direct sun on your legs for at least one week and use sunscreen if they are exposed
- No self-tanner or tanning beds during the plan
- Moisturize the skin in the days after the session
- No waxing, tweezing or depilatory creams between sessions · shaving only
- Avoid intense exercise, sauna and pool the following day
Results vary from patient to patient. Laser hair removal reduces hair progressively; there is no guarantee that it won’t grow back.

See treatmentFrequently asked questions
Lower legs or full legs?
It depends on where the hair that bothers you is. Lower legs covers from the knee down and is enough when the thigh has fine or sparse hair. Full legs includes the thigh. At the consultation, we look at how your hair is distributed and tell you whether the lower legs are enough or whether it makes sense to treat everything.
How long does a leg laser hair removal session take?
Lower legs take less time; full legs usually take around 30 to 45 minutes, depending on hair density. The Splendor X handpiece covers large areas in fewer passes. If you add bikini or underarms, they’re done in the same appointment and add only a few minutes.
Can I combine legs with bikini and underarms?
Yes, and it’s the most common choice. At iki there are plans for full legs with bikini, full legs with underarms, Trilogy plans that combine several areas, and Full Body plans. Treating several areas in the same appointment saves time and makes the session calendar easier to organize.
What if I get a tan during the plan?
A tan increases the pigment in the skin and the laser can compete with it, which raises the risk of dark spots or burns. If you arrive with a recent deep tan, we prefer to postpone the session or adjust settings. If you have a sunny trip coming up, we plan your appointments around it.
Does leg laser hair removal hurt?
Legs are usually one of the most tolerable areas. Each pulse feels like brief heat, a bit more intense around the knee and ankle, where the skin is closer to the bone. Z-Cryo cooling protects the skin, and the energy is adjusted if the discomfort is high.
How many sessions will I need for my legs?
The plan usually starts with a package of 6 sessions, every 45 to 60 days. Leg hair is usually finer than underarm or bikini hair, and fine hair responds more slowly. At the end, we review the result; some people need touch-ups over time. Results vary from patient to patient.
How much does leg laser hair removal cost?
It depends on the area and the number of sessions: lower legs, full legs, or a plan that adds bikini and underarms all change the price. There are 6-session packages and touch-ups.
